KERRY MEECH (COSMETIC TATTOOING)

KERRY MEECH is our resident health board-certified rock star cosmetic tattoo artist. She hails from the UK, where she trained in a renowned “Harley Street” clinic — famous for its cosmetic procedures. Unlike most technicians working in her field, Kerry is a true artist who has formal education and a litany of certifications to prove it, which far super-cedes the Halton Region Health Board standards. You will not find a more qualified and experienced semi-permanent make-up professional in Southern Ontario. Her graduate certificates include digital machine-based techniques of cosmetic tattooing, advanced techniques for eyebrows and lip and colour correction procedures. In fact, Kerry spends many of her evenings at home tattooing on practice skins, researching advancements in the industry and honing her already exemplary skills. She has carried out in excess of 400 brow procedures as well as numerous eyeliner and lip tattoo procedures. Kerry is naturally creative and has a versatile, perfectionist work style. After all, when it comes to brows in particular, one size and shape definitely doesn’t suit all! One look at her vast portfolio will show you that she is the best cosmetic tattoo artist in the Burlington, Oakville, and Hamilton area. Don’t risk your face on someone working in the back of one of those questionable hair and nail salons. Book an appointment with a trained, artistic professional in an award-winning tattoo studio. You won’t regret it!

SALINE REMOVAL

Salt/Saline Removal is a safe and less abrasive method for the removal of semi-permanent cosmetics and even body tattoos.
It has become more popular for many reasons including that the healing time and process is less severe to that of laser removal, and can be carried out as frequently as every 4 weeks (laser can often require approximately 6 to 8 weeks between sessions), it far less traumatic on the skin with excellent results and suitable on pretty much any part of the face (subject to consultation). Results will vary for many reasons and total removal (like most forms of removal) cannot be guaranteed. However, significant lifting and lightening of the old pigment is achieved, which is usually more than enough to create a fresher canvass for your new cosmetic procedure. How is it done? A Salt Saline solution is implanted into the skin, in a similar way to how the cosmetic tattoo procedure is carried out, but with a slightly different technique that encourages pigment to the surface. A few sessions are often required and will be advised in your consultation, however this will be a guide only. Results typically do not show until the initial healing period has completed.

LASH LFTING

Lash Lifting is an alternative to Lash Extensions, to give you a more natural lash enhancement. Think of it as a perm for your lashes! A little shield will be applied, then a lifting lotion followed by a setting lotion, then finished with a lovely tint and nourishing serum. This treatment can be completed within an hour but can typically last 6 to 8 weeks!

DERMAPLANING FACIALS

Dermaplaning is a superb treatment for the temporary removal of vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells using a mechanical deep exfoliation process. Due to the way the treatment is carried out, it enables the removal of maximum amounts of dead skin cells that can often leave a dull completion and build up of debris on the skin’s surface. This build up can allow sebum (oils) to get trapped and clogged up in your skin so it really improves the skin surface and appearance and complexion, creating that smooth, healthy glow. You can have the Standard or the Deluxe version, which includes an Enzyme peel. Enzyme peels help to boost the exfoliation process by breaking down even more of the skins surface bonds (that hold dead skin cells together) to loosen and remove more of the dead skin and debris. This method is not as abrasive as a Chemical Peel, which penetrates deeper into the skin. It is an extremely effective treatment that creates wonderful results and a flawless smooth surface…. also great for make-up application. It can be used as a one-off treatment or as part of your skin regime every few weeks.
